The construction of megayacht SEVERINA by project OB 47 was started in Nikolaev
The ceremony of official keel laying of 47 m long megayacht SEVERINA by project OB 47 took place at shipyard LIMAN (Nikolaev, Ukraine) on September 15, 2004. The representatives of the Customer, Designer and Register attended the ceremony.
The yacht was designed and now is being constructed under the supervision of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping on the class KM
LU1 II SP.
Design and Engineering Bureau ProLINE designed the yacht for the Russian customer with consideration of possibility of navigation in northern rivers. Because of this the yacht has a draft of only 1,7 m with the displacement of more than 400 tons.
The maximal yacht's speed of 15 knots is provided by two VOLVO PENTA engines D34A MT with power 776 kW each.
The cruising range of the yacht is 3500 nm with the speed of 14 knots.
The energy required for comfort and safety onboard is provided by two VOLVO PENTA generator sets D5A T/UCM274E powered 86 kW each, with possibility of parallel operation.
Being able to navigate in ice conditions, the yacht is equipped with air conditioning system of "winter - summer" type, which guarantees the operation of the yacht in Mediterranean subtropics as well as in high northern latitudes.
Six double cabins can accommodate 12 passengers. Two of the cabins are the luxury suites with area of more than 75 sq. m each. The luxury suites include bedroom, sitting room, cloakroom and head, equipped with bath and jacuzzi.
Three saloons with total area of more than 140 sq. m, open decks and sundeck with area more than 100 sq. m, equipped with bar and jacuzzi, are provided for recreation.
Crew of 11 persons will operate the yacht.
